Istanbul, with its bridges connecting Asia and Europe, has the worst traffic at peak hours in the afternoon, and in general in the world.
There 125 hours drivers spend stuck in traffic each year, based on two paths 30 minutes per weekday number.
GPS maker TomTom says that a trip that normally takes 30 minutes with traffic flow takes more than an hour during peak times in the afternoon.
2. Moscow
To drive through the system of bypass roads in Moscow during peak hours you have to be patient, rush hour traffic added over 31 minutes journey.
The rush hour traffic in the city is the second worst in the world.
Jams in the Russian capital are unbearable even during off-peak hours, Moscow has, in general, the fourth worst traffic in the world.

4. City of Mexico
The traffic is terrible Federal District, while Mexico City is the second most congested city in general and the fourth worst traffic at peak times.
A journey that takes 30 minutes on average can be extended to 58 minutes during peak evening hours.
5. Chongqing
Chongqing is the worst Chinese city traffic, with an average delay of 25 minutes during rush hour in the afternoon.
The city in southwest China is settled among several rivers and mountains, and its network of routes is full of bridges and tunnels.
Nick Cohn, expert TomTom traffic jams explains that bridges often create bottlenecks because drivers can not avoid them.
