The Vodka Which Came From Copper

Absolut Elyx enjoys a bottle which claims the luxury of sobriety

Absolut Vodka has marked his place on the shelves of the wine with its iconic bottle, is highly familiar, but for its new Elyx line, they have introduced a unique cubic design with an inspiration in copper.

"It is not projecting an image through excesses and logos. Modern luxury is full of integrity,"said Johan Lindeberg the creative director for the brand.

Absolut Elyx seeks to provide a more personal side of Absolut, using traditional techniques and methods unique distillation: the vodka is distilled in a copper still in the 20s and excellent quality wheat.

The bottle was designed by the agency, The Brand Union, with offices in Stockholm, and was created to reflect the distillation process. Also development in close collaboration with industrial design firm based in Stockholm equal, No Picnic.

The new bottle like the others are rinsed with vodka in the house before being taken to the center of bottling up the street from the distillery.
